Food was very good. Food portions are so large that my wife and I could have shared a 1/4 chicken as there was plenty of food left over from the 1/2 chicken we had ordered. Ended up giving some of our food to an elderly local person.

This restaurant sits right beside the arches leading into Plaza San Francisco. We came in for a late lunch after a long day of touring. You have to pay and get a meal ticket prior to sitting down. After five attempts, we were able to get the young man reading a newspaper to pay attention to us. For a 1/4 chicken with rice and fries it was only $4, so it's certainly a cheap meal. The chicken itself was everything I imagined Peruvian chicken would be when had locally. The skin was succulent, the meat juicy (even the breast meat) and the rice and fries weren't bad. The problem was the restaurant itself. I have traveled all over the world, and am not sensitive about street food, limited to fine dining establishments, or anything of the sort. So far on the trip, we've eaten at restaurants all along the dining spectrum. This one was just dirty. The tables were dirty, the silverware was dirty, the glasses were dirty, and the bathroom was a disaster there were urine and feces on the floor, no toilet paper and the smell could knock anyone back. I've literally used facilities in Borneo that were no more than a hole in the ground and yet were less repulsive. So, I can't recommend the chicken highly enough, but don't touch anything.
