Was User at MAP Cafe a mag?
What User dislikes about MAP Cafe:
Beautiful location but very expensive menu. 5 course tasting usd 60 making each small langoustine 4usd or each small potato of the second course usd3 or a spoonful of Cuy about 10usd. Service was also very fast, as they were clearing the second course the third course was being served, not even a minute wait in between dishes. Drinks are fairly priced but food is in my opinion overpriced. View all feedback.

Lugar con encanto y mejor comida. No puede irse nadie sin probar su postre de trufas, todo un espectáculo para la vista y el paladar.

This restaurant is essentially a glass case in the courtyard of the Larco museum in Cusco. We went there because it was close to our hotel and we were told it was a neat place. We were somewhat disappointed. The menu is three items- you choose a starter, entrée and dessert from a list of choices. Nothing has the price on it and we did not ask figuring it would be consistent with other places. The food was okay - not the best we had in Peru but adequate though quite forgettable. The shock was that the bill was over 400 sols with only a small half bottle of wine. We found this out of line in comparison to other meals we enjoyed in our two weeks in Peru. it seemed a lot to pay for a fairly ordinary meal. The service was friendly and pleasant. Once you get over the fact you are eating in a glass case, the surroundings are actually not much and the space quite boring, though I am sure the museum itself is outstanding (We toured the Larco museum in Lima and it is worth the visit).

I think this is the best place to eat in cusco. the quality of the ingredients and the way they are matched in a modern Peruvian kitchen is what has blown away me. the hotel is located in the museum of pre-Columbian art, it sits about 15 tables so in advance. my favourites where the alpaca and the lemon tart

Jhon was our server and we had an incredible experience! he was very friendly, knowledgeable and polite. he made my birthday and our honeymoon experience special. the food was absolutely delicious and the ambiente was beautiful!
