La Cantina Vino Italiano - Cusco

I will be honest, this is not the best Italian food I ever had, but the atmosphere in the restaurant and above all the attitude and friendliness of the host was amazing! We went there twice and will definitely come back

We had an amazing experience in this wine bar/restaurant/pizzaria. This place is first a wine bar and it is great! The owner is very good about the wines he offers, and the selection is great! We had a thin crust pizza and for a moment we felt we were sitting in an Italian restaurant at the foot of Monte Vesuvius. We would recommend 100% to go here to enjoy a piece of real Italian cuisine and great service!

World-class space, despite the small intimate environment. Everything we had was delicious; from cold cuts to pizza to Tiramisu. Amazing selection of wine; every glass we ordered came from a fresh bottle. And last but not least the host Rafaelle was amazing, super attentive; always make sure we have what we need, and shows us in the right direction, while he brightened our night with small, polite jokes. Find amazing in Cusco!

In a city with over 100 restaurants serving pizza, one stands above the rest. And it's not even close. Cheeses and meats imported from Italy combine to form the perfect charcuterie board that is also unparalleled in Cusco. Cantina Vino Italiano exposes all other Italian cantinas and restaurants as second-rate with their authentic approach to food and wine that is at once both simplistic and elegant. The rustic space boasts hand-made tables and chairs as well as wine racks. The open kitchen keeps you right in the action. Service is friendly and personal. The only problem?.... I don't know how I'll enjoy another pizza in the United States ever again !

Best pizza in Cuzco! And the two sauces they serve with them were perfect! One kept things cool while the other sliced it up. Great combination! Also, the service was fantastic! We never had to wait for copious amounts of time if we needed something. Our waiter was great!
