We had the roast chic... read more This was definitely a place that the locals enjoy as it was recommended by our guide and we were the only non-Peruvians in the restaurant. We had the roast chicken and it was good and very reasonable. They do have signs up about making sure...you watch your things, but you should be doing that anyway no matter where you are.

It’s close to the main plaza, and should be in your list to try.

If you’re looking for a local place and have been wondering which roasted chicken place to try, this is a great spot to start. It was recommended by multiple guides and locals, so we squeezed it in as a late afternoon snack. We...went around had great service, and the chicken came right out. A quarter chicken comes with fries and visit to the salad bar, and is more than enough for people. We added a glass of the house red for S and the total came out to S with a tip. It’s a great spot for dining on a budget or for those looking to eat like a local!
