one of the best meals we had in cusco. the mushroom soup was from this world, scallops melted in my mouth with a hauch of an Asian dressing (although more acid could have used) and a perfectly boiled black ink paste with butter soft garnels in a white coconut-based sauce. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Cicciolina:
We were disappointed as we expected to be at one of the the best restaurants in town. Duck breast was tough, salmon was raw. Both dishes were so small that we went to another restaurant afterwards to get full. Prices indicate a superior quality which we didn’t find at all. View all feedback.
I don’t know why in our google searches, this place didn’t show up. A local friend brought us here and it’s a hidden gem! After a month in Cusco we’re sad we didn’t find this place until a few days before our departure. Highly highly recommended!
They sit down when they eat here. while the farm seats offer a beautiful view, the balcony seats are even better. they get a nice view of the central area gasses from where they can watch the people, take a few fresh air and ambiente with their meal, also a wonderful point of view for taking photos. now about eating, chorizo and fig jam on a maisbrote like square was amazing! this is in the menu tapas. causa trout was excellent and the alpaca lomo was also good. for dessert, the strawberry in port wine was fantastic, my only handle was that the pisco ice cream it came with exaggerated the strawberries instead of complicating it. Maybe if the pisco was made in a kind of reduction sauce, it would have worked better to burn most alcohol taste from the pisco. other than that, everything was great, and if anything, even if they find the food medium, the look alone is worth the bill.

Nothing like the vibe of a happening restaurant that’s doing it right. Excellent experience all around: service, food, ambience. Mariluz handled our larger party like a pro, I want to return to Peru just to come here!! Notable food: Alpaca Carpaccio and the Trout Toradito tapas.
We ate here in our first night in cuzco. the dishes were beautiful, with many Peruvian aromen and Peruvian influences in more modern kitchen. we had guinea pigs and alpaca steaks, some beautiful cocktails and a wonderful time with great waiters.
