My wife and I chose Can Marti for an elegant and romantic departure dinner after our 4 day stay in Cunit, while on our 3 week road trip along the Spanish Medite... read more My wife and I chose Can Marti for an elegant and romantic departure dinner after our 4 day stay in Cunit, while on our 3 week road trip along the Spanish Mediterranean Coast from Barcelona to Murcia and back. It was an excellent choice. Cunit has several impressively good restaurants which we tried that week; Can Marti was in our top 2, along with Claudi, a local favourite. Can Marti's menu is refined, the plates are beautifully presented, the service is politely attentive, and the clean decor and genteel ambiance set the mood for a very pleasant dining experience. That evening, the conspicuously well attired clientele which filled the restaurant was a broad mix of different nationalities: Spanish, Russian, British, French, and Canadian (us , so Can Marti appears to have broad geographic appeal. We found it on TripAdvisor. ;

Our first course was spinach Al C... read more We popped in to have their daily menu and both enjoyed thoroughly. The ensaladita and gazpacho were fresh and of good quality. Our first course was spinach Al Catalan and very tasteful with pinuts and raisins. I tried Fideos Al Catalan, a stew with vermicelli pasta and pork. A good choice and dish from this area. Their grilled meat, pancetta al brasa and secreto iberico were delicious. To finish it all off with Crema Catalan. Fresh and loved the lemony taste. Friendly staff too. Very reasonable price!
