What Joe Knows dislikes about Al's Bbq:
I must have gotten them on a bad day. Generous portion of brisket but brisket had been held too long and then smothered in sauce. Ribs were held too long, too. Might have been good once. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.

A little shack on the side of the road... That's how you know it's legit! The food's great and Al is real friendly.
Uncle AL is a really friendly man, and his BBQ could be the best in Texas... Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Ribs Sandwich
First of all, I’m a big fan of “hole in the wall” type places as long as the food is good. Al’s BBQ did not disappoint! I got the sliced beef sandwich with my sauce on the side, because I don’t like too much sauce. It was tender and delicious! And of course, Al is so likeable that it makes the experience even better.I will be coming back for more for sure! Food: 5 Service: 5

What a lovely spot for enjoying some local BBQ! I wished I had taken a picture of the food, but I devoured it too quickly! Highly recommend this place!
What a delightful find for BBQ! It's not fancy, but the pit is incredibly well-seasoned. I ordered a sliced beef sandwich—it was enormous and absolutely delicious.
Fantastic barbecue! It's located in a small shack, but that's a sign of its authenticity! If you’re not seeking a fine dining experience, this place is perfect for you.
This hidden gem of a trailer serves up some fantastic BBQ. You’ll be pleasantly surprised by how tender the sliced beef is. If you prefer lean cuts, just let them know. The sandwiches are massive and only cost $6.00!
Avoid this place! I ordered chopped beef sandwiches, but what I received was a strange mix of meat—some sort of beef and pork, I believe. There was also way too much sauce. I paid $6 for the sandwich, and then a friend of the staff asked for a handout, so we ended up with two terrible sandwiches and one for the panhandler. The total was $18! Definitely don’t stop here.
