The wait staff was charming and made the time enjoyable. Until....the cook jumped off line and swept the floor. Then...he went straight back to cooking. My wife was shocked. It was hard to finish her food. Such nice people there, but putting on new gloves was all it would have taken. I tried to justify the error, but even my lower standards could not overcome this. Service is wonderful and a great place to take my kids to breakfast on the occasional weekend.
As a southerner, Waffle House is a part of life and rightfully so. Pro tip: order a double quarter cheeseburger, add bacon, and have your burger expectations elevated to a whole new level.
