It's like something straight out of a sci fi movie, and I half expected it to join our conversation or challenge us to a game of trivia.While the food may not have set my culinary world alight, the UFC fights on enormous TVs did catch my attention. The **** bouts made for an odd backdrop to our family dinner, painting a contrast as stark as guacamole on a tortilla chip. Perhaps a warning for the more sensitive diners could be considered?In summary, Palapas Bar and Grill offers a pleasant, if not extraordinary, Mexican dining experience with a unique robotic twist. Though it may not have been our favorite Mexican haunt, its individuality and charm earn it a respectable 3.5 out of 5 stars. If you ever find yourself craving a Margarita served by R2 D2's distant cousin, Palapas is the place to be!

I Placed an order through DoorDash and received the wrong thing so I contacted DoorDash to get a refund and I reordered the same meal again to get the correct food. I guess they were mad I contacted DoorDash about the mistake so they never remade the food or requested another driver. My order said preparing for like an hour so I had to cancel and never receive my food smh. Terrible customer service

Third visit and worst yet. No more visits. 3 strikes and you are out. Food had no flavor and ground beef tacos were terrible. chips with salsa was so minimal(think cereal bowl size) and didn't get any extra with tasteless cheese dip. Waitress inferred to us the table adjacent to us with 7 people was going to get the most of her attention. She did just that. Only two of us. Had to ask for refills, didn't check to see if all the food was satisfactory. It was not. Left 2/3 of it untouched. Just bad service too again. Only great thing was the young man greeting customers was wonderful. Definitely will not return.

We love Palapas! Great weekday stop when we don’t feel like cooking or just want a margarita. The food is what I would expect from a Mexican restaurant (hit or miss). Drinks are delicious and they have thirsty Thursdays’ when drinks are $5/each. Definitely recommend the chicken quesadillas, fajitas, and churros!!!

Very good food and such a nice atmosphere! We went there twice. The first time we had fajitas and now I had Taquitos Traditionales. Both were really good!
