We enjoyed our meal. The food is always good, and staff attentive. You had just lost a staff member, and there was an unspoken remembrance of her with ribbons pinned to your clothing and flowers with a pic in the entry. It was a lovely touch, and understated yet very powerful. I am sorry for your loss. View all feedback.
What Donna Champlin doesn't like about Cinco Mexican Cantina Vickery Village:
Used opentable to make a reservation and received an email confirmation. Upon arrival at Cinco's, they had no record of it and it caused us to have a 1 hour wait. View all feedback.
Back room very loud. Recommend some type of noise dampening.
The hostess wad really sweet and nice I believe her name was hannah. The server Katelyn was ok. She was nice and all but made silly mistakes. Such as every time we ordered drinks she forgot one. And once a friend ordered a Coke she brought it out and said I think the bag is empty do you want to try it? Clearly the drink had no syrup. She should have just switched the bag and brought her a fresh one. Another friend ordered the Monday night tacos. She asked for salsa that normally comes with the meal. The waitress brings it out and said it normally didn't come with it but I'll give it to you. Then when she ran get card she was charged 1.50 for the salsa really is a Mexican restaurant?? You charge for salsa? The food was good though. Prices were great on Mondays $3 margaritas and $2 tacos.
Nice new menus. Food was very nicely plated and delicious.
The food was good. The service was very bad. The waiter poorly attended to us and we seemed to better service from bus boys/junior wait staff. I was going to leave no tip but felt bad so left $10 on a $103 bill when I normally tip 20%.
We enjoy coming to Cinco's because of atmosphere in the location. We can either come as a family or on a date night or girls night out. We really like how you have entertainment on the weekends either on the patio when it's warm or inside by the bar. New outdoor seating is wonderful especially when you have kids that want to run in the grass area while you finish up your meal. The only criticism that I've had so far is that the ramekins that you use for your salsa are not sufficient for the size of the chips that you have. No matter who I come with they always comment on how small the salsa ramekins are and that it doesn't make any sense when you're trying to dip a chip in it.
