Their multigrain bread is great. Not the fluffy stuff with sees scattered on top! Wide variety of sweets as well.

No trip to Cumberland is right without ensuring a pit stop at this yummy bakery. The line up is all the convincing you need to know it's popular with locals and visitors alike - and always fresh. A nice little park beside it makes a great place to enjoy your treat and the sun. YUM

I buy my bread from there all the time. Reasonably priced and always fresh and delicious. Even the marked down stuff is fresh and lasts long.

We love Cumberland Bakery! A weekend tradition is to come from Courtenay with the kids, pick a treat at the bakery, and head to the nearby playground. My husband loves the donuts, the kids love the cookies and I usually choose a croissant - most recently the brie and banana pepper. Yum!We also recently tried a donut cake for a birthday. Something different from the traditional birthday cake - was enjoyed SO much! We loved it. Very fun idea.

We stopped at Cumberland Village Bakery and tried a donut. They didn't have a ton to select from so late in the day. Mine was a 'cake' donut with sprinkles. It was fresh and definitely a step above what you might get from the typical chain store.Definitely check this out - I heard someone ask for a Cronut while I was there, but they were sold out. Oh well - it's a good excuse to return!
