good English pub evening and more, had fish n chips and guinness steak pie, both abundantly servings and perfect in every wise. guinness blond to accompany the meal. music was free (eagles, simon and garfunkel, the stones) and at a good level to hear and talk. pub atmosphere also, neat bar. we will often go back. highly recommended! The food was pretty good although our order wasn't correct. The service was awful and they weren't busy to justify that. Our order was brought out, no check back to see if things were ok or if we needed refills on drinks, etc. Even had to wait for the bill after scraping off condiments and making the best of an incorrect meal. 3 stars is generous since we won't be going back. Music was complimentary (Eagles, Simon and Garfunkel, the Stones) and at a good level to both listen and talk. Pub atmosphere too, neat bar. We will go back many times. Highly recommend!!!!
Historic eatery in Cumberland that is blessfully reopened and showing signs of life. We had a delightful evening. Dan Stevens provided entertainment and there was a drag show inasmuch as this was the kick off event of Pride Week. The only problem was caused by yours truly by signing an incorrect check. Highly recommend you give the place a try and I shall return!
Food was great and handicapped accessible for my wife. She enjoyed her birthday dinner there.
Eating was very good! the monster burger was bigger than I expected. but it's worth it.
