We recently dined at this restaurant for dinner and had mixed experiences. We started with calamari, which was a large portion and cooked perfectly, but unfortunately, it was rather bland. One of my friends ordered a pizza, while I chose the chicken Parmesan with a side salad. The chicken Parmesan was served with two thick chicken breasts that were quite tough. Having made this dish many times myself, I usually slice the breasts in half or pound them thin, so I found the thickness unappealing. It definitely could have used more sauce. On the positive side, the salad was fresh and flavorful. However, my friend's pizza was quite "floppy" and lacked taste, leaving him disappointed. Overall, I found the meal to be pricey and not worth the cost. To top it off, we realized at the end that they had forgotten to bring bread to our table.
We've eaten here several times, and each visit is a special experience. The olive oil they serve with the bread is simply amazing!
Despite the stressful downtown construction making parking a bit of a challenge, we managed to find the restaurant after a long day of travel. Upon arrival, the cheerful hostess quickly seated us, which was a relief. We ordered Chicken Parmesan and a pasta dish featuring sun-dried tomatoes, along with some added shrimp. Everything was delicious! We also enjoyed a glass of wine each. While it was a little on the pricey side, we felt the meal was well worth it. The waiter mentioned they had recently started serving pizza from a new, large pizza oven. If we're ever in the area again, we’ll definitely return!
I don't **** them when I say this is one of the best Italian restaurants I was in. my wife and I had luck finding this place when we walked in west virginia and came back through cumberland. we were in the mood for Italian food and decided to come here. it was one of the best decisions we have ever made. you can tell everything about the ground. Even the balsamico vinegar and oil that comes with the brot is absolutely fantastic. I had two separate meals and they are just so filled with taste. all the staff are super hospitable and it makes them feel that they are at their grandmother table to dinner. we drove two hours down a day to eat here for dinner. the owner gave us a complementary glass wein, only to go away. this is a hidden gem in cumberland and one has to go.
No cakes can explain how amazing the food was, and the staff was amazingly friendly and so friendly. I made a reservation for my parents and I, my parents celebrated their 57th anniversary and I could not have asked for a more delicious and fantastic waiter and co-worker. they gave us a free dessert of our choice. would absolutely recommend to anyone who loves Italian food and wonderful people to be.
