Always a great meal. Food is cooked well and always tastes great. Service is top notch even when they're busy. I've never had a bad meal here. The seasoned lettuce on subs is excellent as are the homestyle food and dessert.
We have been going here for 30 plus years at least 2 times a month. The quality is hit and Miss lately. Not too long ago more meat would fall off of the sub trying to eat it than was on the sub this time. I understand everyone is cutting back but whenyou raise the price of a small sub to 12bucks I should taste the meat We ordered a small steak sub a small chicken salad 1order of fries a water and a Pepsi 35 bucks and the quality was disappointing . I mentioned it to our server she was a verygood server) and she told us it depends on who is preparing the meal. The best cooks work later in the day :
We just finished dining at D'Atri's and had a great experience until our waitress was called upstairs to wait on tables. Our table was never visited again to see if we needed anything. It was my father in law's first visit to the restaurant and wewanted to impress him because we dine there often. He had coffee to drink and would have liked to have had just a bit more, butnobody stopped by our table to see if we needed anything. Our waitress was wonderful (until she was called away) and our foodwas delicious!
Our family of 5 stopped here at the tail end of a 11 hour drive. The menu had so many American-Italian options! One person had salmon and the others had variations of pasta with a tomato based sauce. The food bread they served was bland, but overall wewere very happy with the cleanliness of the restaurant and the portion size of the food.
When we visit Cumberland we visit D’Atri several times. This latest time we hit breakfast a couple of times and dinner three times. I tried the white chicken lasagna this time and I enjoyed it a great deal, so much so I got it again. This time and in the past we and other family members enjoyed everything we ordered. Needless to say we look forward to hitting D’Atri and will return multiple times the next time we visit Cumberland.
