Phenomenal empanadas. They have a tent setup during farmers market hours so I tried them during that time. They had 4 for $12 and I tried the tomato basil and spicy beef. Incredible! View all feedback.
What Tom Milkowski doesn't like about Grand Casino Bakery Café:
I always come here for the empanadas! The chicken empanadas are out of this world. The staff here is always so nice. I ran the LA marathon back in March and had my family visit me. I didn’t do as well as I wanted in the marathon. I started out really strong but by mile 20 I cramped up and was walk/running until the end. I still managed to finish well under 4 hours but I’ll hopefully do better next year. Anyways, I ha... View all feedback.

Great little cafe +restaurant. The restaurant side is to the left with waiter service; full menu, the food is pretty good. Sometimes they have Tango dancing or lessons. The cafe though is my favorite one of the two. Cute pastries, the empanadas are off the hook... order some and sit outside by the sidewalk table and people watch. They also have alfajores and pan de miga (thin ham and cheese sandwiches, delicious! . Street parking or there is a public street lot a blockor two away.
Good food with very reasonable prices for the location. Their sangria was a favorite!
I love this bakery!! Employees here are nice and caring. You can do a take out or eat at a table outside. Cafe is right next door that has the same menu but you get served.
5th time eating here, and perfect every time! The empanadas (chicken, spinach and beef) and baked goods (everything) are outstanding, and I had huevos rancheros for breakfast today... also GREAT! There's an extra special vibe here that is like a small town in the middle of LA, right on Main Street in Culver City... friendly, service-oriented and so tasty. Tuesdays outside is the farmers market. Parking is free on Sunday and there's always been a spot except for the farmer's market day, when I parked in the nearby garage. Even the coffee is good... I love Grand Casino!
