I’ve seen this place over the years that I’ve been driving through the area on Rt29, as it’s in the Southern States gas station. I decided to stop in for a chicken sandwich one morning while fueling up in the gas station and they had a large selection of sandwiches that they make fresh and put into a warmer. What Shane Muncy doesn't like about Champs Chicken:
The food is awful. The chicken in the Spicy Chicken sandwich was crunchy. Not the breading, but the chicken itself was crunchy. I don't think it was chicken. I was thankful I got a cheeseburger too. While the burger was edible, it was very low quality as well. I'll never get food here again, even if I'm starving. View all feedback.

I decided to stop in for a chicken sandwich one morning while fueling up in the gas station and they had a large selection of sandwiches that they make fresh and put into a warmer. I opted for the spicy chicken and wow, it was spicy! It was actually pretty good. It was very basic though, only a fried chicken breast on a bun. The bun was good, not dry. Service was just OK though, as I was trying to ask the girl behind the counter a question and she kept mumbling her response. But I 'd stop in for chicken, possibly a sandwich again sometime.

The chicken was good in terms of taste and had a very crispy coating, which made it enjoyable to eat, but I definitely think that it would be at its best if you were able to get it when it 's freshly made compared to when it 's been held under the heat lamp. Sides were good, nothing out of the ordinary, but they did forget to give us our biscuits with the 12 piece Family meal, which we didn 't realize until we got home, so that was frustrating. My daughter liked the nuggets but did mention that they seemed peppery, but they weren 't spicy and she said she would get them again. I will state that I am happy to purchse their chicken solely based on their support for Pediatric Cancer, so kudos to them on their Super Sam campaign. Again, the chicken and sides were good and we would definitely go back.
Chicken tenders are pretty good. Don't think the chicken sandwich holds up to what you guys say but it's still pretty good.
Not to bad of a place pretty laid back good customer service just a lil on the expensive side
