The wait time was a bit longer than expected, but it was definitely worth it. Both the dining room and drive-thru were open, and the wait time was great this time around.

They were out of grilled talipia, an... read more My family and I decided to eat here around 2:15pm this afternoon. The young lady taken orders inside was not very friendly! They were out of grilled talipia, and didn't know when it would be available again. A lot of the food we ordered was over cooked tothe point were some of it was too hard to eat hush puppies, fries, chicken, catfish). Portions were very small a lot smallerthan normal). Our son's kids meal had bigger portions than our adult meals!! Another young lady was sweeping in the dining areawhile we were eating. She was so close to us that her butt was basically in our faces and just about touching our table for avery long!! That's disgusting and freaking ridiculous!! She should have waited till us and another older couple were done eatingbefore cleaning in that area. My family loves Captain D's and this is by far the worst location that we've ever eaten at. Wewill not be back!

The town has plenty of places for chick... read more Capt D's is a solid choice for seafood, especially considering that we live in Cullman, where options are quite limited. The town has plenty of places for chicken and burgers, but not much else. So, yes, it's good! On a more serious note, the food is enjoyable, and the staff puts in a lot of effort. You really can’t go wrong with Capt D's; it’s mainly a fried menu, but it’s quite tasty!
