Particularly appreciated the “arroz del señoret” which seems to be the traditional dish of the place (different versions).

The starters were ok like Jamon , chipirones , Gambas blancas y rojas and calamares which this one was not that great ! The staff could smile a bit more , we are there to be welcome and I didn’t feel it that much since the moment I got in. When it comes to the bill , it was in my opinion totally overpriced , how can a shot of licor de hiervas be worth 9€ , yep that’s right 9€ for a shot, and 1 bogavante 35€ ! Never thought . The rice was nothing special , no flavour at all . It’s a really pretty place .

It is not really cheap, but cheaper (and probably better) than the better known rice restaurant in Cullera (Casa Salvador). The restaurant is by the road linking el Perello and Cullera, in a small farming village. Thankfully it has its own parking, which you can enter some 100 metres down the road in the direction of Cullera, already outside the village. The small side street leads you back to the (back) restaurant entrance. On the day of my visit the restaurant was full of locals eating all types of paellas from the centre of the table (as it is supposed to be done). If you are planning to go for a Sunday (and may be Saturday) lunch, you should book. It is the kind of restaurant that will tend to fill up to the brim for lunch during weekends.
