Contribute Feedback What farmer7rem doesn't like about La Frontera:
You can sit and look at the sea and watch the children mess about on the beach safely but don`t eat the food. It is either overcooked and has been hanging around for a while before being warmed up or not cooked properly at all. Everything is served in a rush whether or not it is fit to come to table....so the stews are cold on top and burnt on the bottom, ditto the paella, and the calamari are uncooked inside a batte... Outstanding food, service, price, and location, what more do we want ...............3 had the menu Dias, one went off piste, all amazing and so cheap, will come again
We have been here many times and never fails to please,The choice on the menu is excellent and the food first class, The staff are always helpful and polite and the service very fast.Friday is Paella day as a starter and I had the calamari as a main course , Always good to go back.
Menu of the day 11 euros includes bread, drink and coffee alongside the three courses, plenty of choice and very quick service, tends to get busy as is well known even though off the beaten track.
We have been here on 3 occasions and it never disappoints. Twice for menu del dia , once a la carte. Menu del dia for me this time was great with soup to start, tuna as the main course and a fabulous tiramisu. All topped off with a wine and a coffee for 11 euros. Great value, great food, fabulous view.
2nd visit here, such excellent value at 10 euros (3 courses, bread, drink and coffee). Food was great quality, service excellent and a fabulous view too.
