Was David G at VIPS a mag?
We have eaten at the Avenida Emiliano Zapata location several times, always for breakfast. Compared with other choices in the neighborhood, VIPS offers a good meal at a good value. Other reviews compare with Dennys but I think VIPS is a bit above. The ingredients are all local and fresh. Look on the table or ask the waitress if there are specials some are great value. What Christopher P dislikes about VIPS:
VIPS' prices keep going up and up, and the quality of service and portions of food keep going down down down. The best thing about VIPS is its coffee; other than that, go elsewhere. View all feedback.

I love the menu at VIPS as I can always count on good food that agrees with my finicky stomach while in Mexico
VIPs is basically a pleasant and uniform fast food place with a variety of offerings, safe food and decent value, about the quality of Marie Callender's or the like, a bit above Denny's. Safe, decent, nothing special.

A good choice for a moderate priced (not cheap, but reasonable with pretty generous portions, and a long menu to select from. I had some very nicely prepared chicken, with a generous portion of veggies. Well prepared and served promptly (which does not always happen in Mexico!

Previous reviewers call VIPs the "Denny's of Mexico". It's like Denny's, only brighter. Clean space, good-sized menu & good value. Some tables outside. Really well-lit. Friendly, prompt service, although each of our party of four was served individually instead of all at one time. No big deal. My pollo mole was OK, not special. My wife's soup was bigger than she ordered and not as tasty as she'd hoped. Beer is available. Big-screen TV aired a local soccer game. I really wanted to see the World Series but decided to be diplomatic and watched futbol.Parking on weekends in this area is tough. VIPs offers a free parking lot (with security) to customers. The driveway is sort of harrowing but it's a nice convenience.
