La comida es excelente, lamento no haberlo descubierto antes. La ubicación es excelente y el personal muy amable.Las enmoladas y las enchiladas Cuernavaca (pidanlas con pollo) son deliciosas en verdad. View all feedback.
What Geraldine Kabuye doesn't like about Los Arcos:
It is very casual, under an awning, but a great place to watch the world go by on El Zocalo. It has been here for many years. While we did not eat there, we had drinks on the patio and I heard the food was very good. If you want a casual inexpensive meal my friends who ate there said it was very good. View all feedback.
This is a typical average, efficient, restaurant on a beautiful historic city square. Nothing special but a great place to spend an afternoon or evening in the historic centre of Cuernavaca.
Good place to eat and have a cold beer not very expensive service was ok prices are good, but once more what you pay is what you get when I was for two people it was about 300 pesos we cecina with rice and...some beers
Not expensive, but you get what you pay. If you try something big elsewhere, but be willing to pay more. Eat in this place to save money.
I will be direct and say the food here is not exceptional in any way. It's ok. What makes me give the café 4 stars is the location and the atmosphere. It is right on the zocalo and you have a front row seat to...all the music and activities going on there, but you can sit back, relax, and have a comfortable seat while enjoying an inexpensive meal. The daily specials are good value. They tend to serve standard Mexican fare, enchiladas and the like, although they offer fillets of beef, chicken and fish dishes. It's not gourmet, but it is fine for what it is. The place attracts a lot of people, locals and tourists, and it's a fun spot for people watching. In the evening, people hang out and drink beer, there is often live music. The service is good, the prices reasonable. Even if you just stop for a cup of coffee, you should check it out if you're downtown to get a sense of what Cuernavaca is like. It's not all luxury spas and private estates. There's a busy, bustling working class here, lots of street vendors, people going about their business, friends gathering for a drink or a meal. In response to the comments by one person who spoke about food poisoning, I have eaten here many times and never gotten sick. I have never been served rotten food. I'm surprised by those comments. I would say that it's one of the safer spots for foreigners to eat at, but be aware that as in any part of Mexico, you don't want to drink the water or eat the raw vegetables if they haven't been disinfected, as a foreigner any of these things can make you sick. Better to skip salads and raw foods here, stick with something that has been cooked and is served hot.
