Mayu is an American restaurant at the San Luis Seminary on Santana Street. The food is delicious, the dish I recommend is “picadita mayu’, but there are more dishes you can choose. Unfortunately, I found this place to be underwhelming based several articles I read. The place was absolutely dead and the service was slow. I tried to order the Ruben but they didn't have all the ingredients, so I tried to order the Club Sandwich and they didn't have any Turkey, so then I tried for the Philly Cheesesteak and they actually had that one. The best place ever, if you want nice food and drinks you will definitely go to Mayu, beautiful place, vegetarian options, the price is the best part. My suggestion: Pastrami Sandwich
Excellent food. BBQ Ribs and wings are so delicious, enough for two people. Pet friendly.

As best I can tell this place moved from 3 de Novienbre to Avenida Solano in the Casa Solano, and the Aperitovo moved to El Vergel. Regardless this is a nice dinner place. I had the lomo with blue cheese and my esposa had the ribs with honey sauce. Washed down with vino tinto y Jameson! Dessert was brownie with helado y key lime pie. Excellent! My favorite place to get the closest thing to a Philly cheesesteak in cuenca! Not to mention it's a beautiful restaurant run by the best owner in town! The staff is amazing the cocktails are incredible and they do happy hour 2#1! If you have yet to go to MAYU, you truly don't know what you're missing!!!
