My friend and I travel to Ecuador and we came across this jewel. I honestly cannot stress enough how good this place is. Great value for money! Food is amazing, we had cheese fondue with chorizo on the side and it was the best fondue I ever had. Wine, beer and cocktails to go with your food, you will not give up. Stopped for a lunch by myself. Great views. Nice owner....but wow....service, food and drinks made the experience regrettable. I spent $24 on lunch, most of it during waving my arms for attention even though I was the only diner....$8 salad was served in a bowl...l went for lunch after....they will have to tune up quick to keep the doors open in Cuencas competitive dining atmosphere. Right on the river fantastic fondue and a beautiful desert. Staff are wonderful really champions, which means good service. Go on!
Now permanently closed in Cuenca; a true loss to the city, it was a wonderful little place with fabulous food and great service.
Perfect location to enjoy a glass of wine by the Tomebamba. Fast internet and tasty food. Owners are also very friendly :
Cheese is available for anything that you may want cheese to be on.
Great fondue, nice selection of beer and wine and balcony seating above the Tomebamba. Moderately priced and very comfortable place to watch the sunset.
