The food was absolutely delicious. The personal very attentive. Very recommended
Love this place! The best place for Steak in Cuenca. I shared the Lomo-Fino with my wife, and we were both sick. Beautiful decor and ambience. A bit expensive, but worth it
Hidden jewel of Cuenca! Unbelievable delicious dishes! Best known for fresh wonderful steaks from family farm.

Having heard mixed reviews, I went with friend who had been here before. Overall, the food certainly reflected in the menu is a good place for steaks BUT NOTHING EGYPTIAN HERE. very good choices for steaks, along with seafood making it at GOOD CHOICE FOR SURF AND TURF, though PREDOMINANTLY TURF. they know the difference between mid rare and medium BUT THERE’S NO CLEAR CONCEPT AS TO WHAT THE RESTAURANT VISION Despite it’s name there’s NOTHING EGYPTIAN ABOUT THIS PLACE The menu is a hodgepodge of grilled meats, seafood and TexMex ??? why??? the wine selection are rather at the very low end of the spectrum THANK GOODNESS WE BROUGHT OUR BOTTLE OF SUPERTUSCAN, which they allowed us to open the decor is very contrived, pushing on the pretense for the Egyptian themean attempt that DOES NOT CONVINCE, NOR IS IT APPEALING. It’s one thing to draw inspiration on Egyptian or Mediterranean or Levantine tradition of grilling BUT IT’S ANOTHER THING TO PRETEND. SUGGESTION: Whereas Anubis is a great name, stay with the simple Anubis head at the entrance — For the interior decorRemove all the wall decor of pseudo Egyptian gods figures Go for more subtle use of Papyrus, Reeds and Palms. IF IF IF the Egyptian theme needs to come out, THEN consider adding revising the menu with the addition of Grilled Lamb Goat and small plant based garnishes like Humus, Egyptian Falafel, Cucumbers, Barley, Lentils, Koshari, etc to the menu. Bife de Chorizo ::: very Argentinian choice cut of beef, grilled mid rare juicy and tender the accompanying sautéed vegetables is very flavorful Bastion de Anubis::: triple grilled meats of Beef Loin, Chicken Breast and Pork Loin are a way to checkout how the Chef’s versatility all very well prepared and well seasoned cooked perfect medium while still juicy the fried potatoes are fresh cuts, crisp and seasoned well WORTH NOTING: the servings are large Bread Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream::: well conceived contrast of hot and cold perfect to cap the large dinner Serving is good. The eatery is spacious and airy but as already mentioned, the pseudo Egyptian interior does NOT contribute to the dining experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Extremely limited to a couple of salads Dietary restrictions: This a carnivore’s eatery
