What Timmothy Wehner doesn't like about Castillo's Family Restaurant:
they boast that they were authentic mexican and it was all that but. the nachos were like chips with cheese from a dose. the waitress was so slow and lasted forever to take our order and fill our drinks. I found it sticky that she had her children walked around in the restaurant while she was working and too busy, she tended to the few customers who were there. we will not go back there. bad food and bad service. Family style best. this place had me in the hell. friendly staff treated me and mean man as if we were family on the go. waitstaff was very accommodating, well informed and patient. they have a lot of food and even allowed us to try both suppen. they joked and laughed and several tables spoke with each other and atmosphere light and old-fashioned. eating was excellent and fresh. it takes a little longer, but could say that it was made to order. highly recommended
Nice local family restaurant offering a nice selection of sandwiches and dinners and an all day breakfast menu. Prices are very budget friendly. Not a star restaurant, but a good solid family style place serving the Cudahy area.
Lacking in the atmosphere. think Greek restaurant. when entering you will see the video casino machines. fake flowers and flimsy looking shades decorate the place but- I liked eating. I had the Gyro-Omelet. the tzatziki was made fresh. (photo added I also thought that the server was friendly and on my table checked often I will go back because I would like to try more eating. the place only needs a facelift.
