Recommended by our AirBnB hosts, we were hoping for good things. It was okay - not life-changing and I wouldn't visit again given there are so many other options, but it was nice enough. We had a few breads, which weren't as good as others we'd had nearby; chilaquiles rojas, which were okay but served barely warm; and a delicious scrambled egg dish with beans, avocado and tortillas. The latter was the nicest thing we ordered. They did have earl grey tea and knew how to serve it, though, which was pretty exciting for a couple of tea drinkers who have been in South America and Mexico for 3 months.
We were able to get a table before the big rush arrived. From beginning to end, this was an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is wonderful and we were seated next to the juliette balcony on the second floor. The chilaquiles were excellent as was the judo de verde. Our waiter, Eric, was very attentive and seemed to juggle the multiple tables with ease and professionalism. Highly recommend!
