The guacamole was so good! They had a promotion for drinks when we were there but no happy hour menu or list to understand it more. I had the tortilla soup, the chicharon got soggy fast, and there were a little too many tortilla strips, but still tasty. My boyfriend got the mile and said it was really good.

Great place. We popped in for a Sunday Clamato on our walk around the city. Very modern, clean and very friendly staff.

Our last night in Mexico spent in the historic centre, a beautiful historic area but surrounded by equally historic traditional type restaurants we were looking for something a bit different. We stumbled upon this contemporary restaurant near our hotel Hampton inn and suites. Although early and we were the only diners we immediately received excellent attentive service, the menu was described to us in English in the parts my basic Spanish failed to work out. We opted for the 3 course menu as it was a special for valentines night. The food was tasty, well presented and excellent value, Mexican flavours with a modern twist and presentation.A refreshing find in the historico centro district, one would expect to find this restaurant in the trendy Condesa or Roma districts.

Just happened on Legendaria Cantina. One waiter spoke excellent English and helped us with the menu. Guacamole made at our table with mortar and pestle was fresh and delicious, accompanied by margaritas. We had traditional fish dishes; generous portions of seasonal catch prepared in well-blended chili sauces(piquant but not overpowering), served with a vegetable garnish and fresh tortillas. We had no room for traditional Mexican desserts. Service was professional and courteous. Price very reasonable. We were told the cantina is under new management, with new chef and menu. They have got it right!

We came across this restaurant by accident and it was really worth it: we had some duck tacos for starters and lamb - mexican recopy - for main course. Lovely! Also the ambiance of the place is really cool, great interior design. We definitely would go back again.
