You can tell it has gone down noticeably when there are only 4 tables on a Saturday lunchtime. Used to be very good but now we find it bland and seriously overpriced. Recommend the Guria in Polanco much more

Slight corporate feel here, but the food could hardly be faulted: hearty, full flavoured, generous Spanish and Basque offerings. The sauce of my bacalao al pil pil was one of the most intense I've tasted, including in Spain (the cooking of the cod, as well as of that of a rodaballo I tried, could be improved though), and a white bean soup with various pig's bits was as granny would have made it, rich and tasty. A paella that I tried was fine by me but raised the eyebrows of one of my fellow diners, who however is Spanish and from paella's motherland...Service was a little formal but efficient, and the star-looking chef came to the tables to advise customers. I didn't pay so cannot be totally sure but prices seemed in line with those of high end places in Mexico City.
