It’s a great Corean (Asian) restaurant with excellent food, very well located in Mexico City, based on a great “cook your own” concept that works great. You can socialize and have fun while you eat. Be sure to have enough time. This is a great...“slow food” restaurant, and be patient with service -lots of improvement needed.
Large space for Corean Barbecue, ask for the charcoal tables in the back to get the full experience. Price/quality is good, I think is best for big parties because you can try a bit of everything. The beef was spectacular!
First time we tried Korean BBQ and Goguinara didn't disappoint. Despite not having a comparison we could infer that considering the amount of Koreans eating at the restaurant it shall be a good place. The BBQ in itself is nothing special, so we recommend to...try the several Korean dishes, from salads, soups, rices, drinks to deserts. We shall return. Recommended.
After spending 4 days in Mexico City, my wife and I were craving some Korean food. The local food was fantastic....some of the best we've ever tasted, but after a while you sometimes miss your hometown food. We ordered the chadol meat along with the...natural marinated short rib meat as well as the traditional bean paste soup. The quality of the meat was right up there with the Korean BBQ restaurants we have here in Los Angeles, and the soup was fine also. I’m not going to say that this is a world-class Korean restaurant because it isn’t. However, this place does a fine job in capturing the essence of what a Korean meal should taste like. If you’re craving Korean food while vacationing in Mexico City, this place is perfect. The kimchee was nice and spicy, there were plenty of pickled side vegetable dishes and the bean paste soup went very well with the meats we ordered. The restaurant actually has two sections. I recommend sitting in the inner section, which isn’t immediately visible upon entering the restaurant. It can only been seen once you pass the cash register. The area near the entrance has a much different feel and isn’t as nice. When entering, insist on a seat on the inside area.
Man... not good. The menu has Bibimbap with a small V next to it for Vegetarian. You can add meat or egg if you want. We ordered and added eggs. The meal came without egg and many small pieces of ground beef. I've mixed the dish with the ground beef (what? We sent them back and had the privilege of being accused.
