Cool concept: a bookstor... read more Our friends that live in Mexico City, which we were visiting, needed to buy a book and since it was dinner time we decided to eat here. Cool concept: a bookstore with a full restaurant and bar, coffee and pastries. We ordered a variety of dishes so we could all try the different items on the menu. The food was tasty and satisfying but nothing out of the ordinary. The ceviche was different, as it had cactus leave in it, which I loved but my husband didn't. Even when the food isn't the best around the experience was fun for us and we would definitely come back.

If you are in condesa, you owe it to yourself to stop by el pendulo. first it is a really good bookshop. not just good books of good writers. they even have a p... read more If you are in condesa, you owe it to yourself to stop by el pendulo. first it is a really good bookshop. not just good books of good writers. they even have a pretty good English language for those of us...with bad Spanish skills. but that's not all. the place offers a lot of good, inexpensive food, along with beer and wein. it is a great place to catch a bite, enjoy a drink and stay over a good book. I highly recommend it.
