Also, they keep the minimum of COVID measures, they should really enforce facemask use, especially with all the books and things the people touches

Ordered two carajillos, one for myself and one for my girlfriend and was told that I had to order food to be served. This was after spending pesos on a book downstairs. Luckily there are plenty of bars in the neighborhood that won't attempt to coerce you into spending extra. ‍

This cafebreria has a solid menu with witty names (spaghetti al Dante Alighieri, Brochetas de Pollo Lope de Vega, Pechuga Foucault, etc. and tasty food. I loved the Canelones Maria, filled with Oaxaca and goat cheese, and covered by a cilantro avocado salsa. So mouthwatering! The drinks were memorable too. I recommend the Kerouac and the Hierbabuena Mojito. My husband and I kept coming back. We definitely recommend this place!

What terrible food, the worst we... read more We were out on a rainy evening and decided to stop for dinner at El Pendula in Zona Rosa as we had read some very good reviews. What terrible food, the worst we have ever eaten in Mexico. I had the chicken breast which had tons of onions on top and tasted grotesque. My friend had the burger which actually had an unpleasing taste to it. The food was at most lukewarm and did not feel like fresh. Service was mediocre. Would not recommend anyone to make a mistake to go there. Better off at KFC around the corner!!
