I went to Don Pollo, a hole in the wall kinda of place next door to the Marriott Hotel, a block from the US Embassy. I tried the pollo al carbon and it was so delicious. It was reminiscent of my childhood days when my dad used to stop at the side of the road and buy either chicken or pork cooked with wood and charcoal. The taste is a soul transformation experience. I went again and tried th chicken soup and the Sincronizadas or quesadillas filled with chicken and white cheese. OMG and very inexpensive. You can indulge for in between $5 and $10. I strongly recommend this place.

So the service was excellent. The food was good and the price was too. They have a large menu. They have a small seating area at street level and a large area upstairs. We sat upstairs with a view on Paseo de Reforma.
