A big thank you to the staff at Panera and Aimee, the service manager, for hosting a fantastic event! We reserved the private conference room and had a lovely afternoon bridal shower for 6 guests. Candice, the caterer from Panera, made sure we had delicious food and drinks ready for us. The location was perfect and we had a wonderful time. Excellent job, Panera Crystal Lake, IL! I ordered an Asian salad. The staff was very friendly, but my salad didn't look very appetizing. It wasn't fresh and the lettuce was almost black instead of green. I ended up throwing it out and won't be going back. It wasn't worth the $12. View all feedback.

Feeling unsatisfied with this response, I decided to visit the restaurant in person after finishing our meal. Unfortunately, I was stopped at the door for 34 minutes before finally being able to speak to the manager. Despite the restaurant not being busy and having enough staff on hand, the manager initially tried to blame a part-time worker for the missing cookies. I found this unprofessional and lacking in accountability. I requested a full refund due to the inconvenience caused, but the manager claimed she couldn't authorize it and that the general manager would have to do it on Monday. Unsatisfied with this response, I asked for the general manager's name to be written down for me. The manager then proceeded to cancel my entire order in order to issue a refund. I will be checking my credit card to ensure this has been done. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of customer service and accountability at this restaurant. I will be visiting the general manager on Monday to see if they can convince me to continue patronizing their establishment. In my line of work, such behavior would result in a final warning before consequences.

Panera employees cannot get the orders right. 2 of 2 commands wrong with panera. first at fox river grove gave me brioche instead of chiabatta brot to breakfast sandwich. I went back to fix myself. second order on the crystal lake. the same breakfast sandwich left the cheese. I didn't want me to hold this. too much to do, and I didn't want the personal to keep my order wrong, so I should have to wait in the load until they make a new one every time. I gave two stars because I like their summer coffee/drink deal and this is the only good thing about it so fat.
I remember when Panera used to be one of my favorite places to eat about 7 years ago.The quality, staff and serving sizes have tanked across the board while their prices are now through the roof.This location is the worst of the worst. The whole store needs a complete overhaul from customer service to food presentation to cleanliness. Carpets and bathrooms need a significant refresh/remodel. I was served with a clean' fork with a crusty straw wrapper or napkin stuck on it.Meal for 3 people, which included one being a kids meal, was almost $40 and we didn't even get dessert. Absolutely ludicrous for what's now a step above fast food. I regretted the decision to eat here.
