So many gluten free options! My son who has Celiac had the pulled pork bowl. The pork was delicious (I tried some)...so much flavor. We ate here several times during our one week stay. View all feedback.
Ate here two weeks ago and loved it! Both times had a wonderful experience. As a celiac I asked a number of questions and quickly realized that they were familiar with GF. The chips are fried in a common frit, so we skipped apps and I had the tropical Poke bowl (mg delicious!! with salmon. I asked her to leave the soy sauce. Meal came and I could see a lot of soy sauce in the bowl, so I was immediately worried. I asked our server (Bartender Brennan, who was excellent! if he would double check it with the kitchen. He came back and said they used the GF Tamari! (FYI there is no mention of a GF-Tamari option on the menu, but obviously they have it. No ill effects and we loved it so we went back later in the week. Saw at the bar to see Barkeeper Brennan again. Not only did he recognize us BUT he also remembered that I am celiac without having to mention it. This time we went prepared and brought our own corn tortilla chips and got the Queso dip. It was good, but it wouldn't get back. Guac looked like the better option. I have the tropical pancake again, but this time with tuna. And I also heard Brennan put his head in the kitchen to ask her to give him a verbal recognition that she saw that there is a celiac order. Very recommended. We're definitely going back!
Adults really enjoyed, children were less enthusiastic, but they are picky. When we put our name in us, we asked for gf options for Poke bowls and some grilled fish could be used. Also told me that they can't make a queen on Mai's tortillas for my daughter, but the reviews here always mention Mai's tortillas... When the waitress sat, told us that the fish would indeed be crucified... but fortunately they make a home-drawn chicken that my daughter w rice and a few poke toppings she likes. She has enjoyed it overall, but I guess based on reviews here and elsewhere I thought there would be more for her (but again she is not very adventurous) love the mood here and great cocktails for adults!
Here twice. Wasn't sick. Waitress mentioned without asking that the frit is divided. The Caribbean role is full. The drinks were delicious, taste the My Boi Lilikoi. I wanted to eat here again it was so good and I felt confident that it was actually gf unlike some of the other options on the island.
I had the trio of passion fruit pico, queso and guacamole. The chips are fried in a common frit (which the waitress noticed without asking me), so they grilled some fresh corn tortillas for me. The food was great, the drinks were fantastic, and I didn't get sick. These are several GF options on the menu itself.
Such a great spot! I got the Brussels sprouts which they cooked in a delegated pan to avoid cross contamination, the wild mushroom taco and shrimp taco. Their corn tortillas are really good. I have celiac and did not get sick.
