La albahaca - Crucecita

I have recommended this place by a traveling with someone who said that eating was delicious at a very reasonable price. Do not blink as they pass, because as many have said, it is a very inconceivable little spot. no English speaking if they don't speak Spanish. do not expect someone to explain to them or pander to their taste. Apparently there is no lunch menu, just a selection of three articles....as I only understood pescado, fish was what I had! he started with a nice suppe, whose instinct I had no idea. the taste was tender, kartoffel as with mild indescribable delicate frizzy aromas. the salad was so fresh with a sweet basilikum dressing. for a little added “Gingo Magen” protection I asked for fresh lime to press and marinated for a few minutes. my wife didn't, none of us had a stomachache. my main course was simply rice with the tenderest white fish served in a crimped butter sauce. they have no choice of drinks, a different local flavorbeda is served daily. our juice of the day was icy rice milk, with zimt flavored. nothing like before, and loved everyone. the servings were not big, but perfect. many natives. it is very clean and bright and the open windows allow a beautiful brise to circulate as they watch passersby through the daily management. service was attentive, friendly and faster than most authentic Central American restaurants. I am writing this review reluctant because I know that the location simple notice will soon be busy the place and the prices will rise. a great lunch and drinks $120 pesos!

This Comedor is very cheap about 50Pesos for a soup, water of fruit, a principal dish of fish or meat and everything cooked in Mexican stile served with hot solce, tortillas and limon. I eat many time there just have to know that the mexican...dish are very speace and fird most of the time could be litle dificult for digestion. It is open until 6pm.

A really nice option for lunch every day, fresh meals, excelent price, always clean and a different menu everyday

My wife and I ate lunch here twice. 3 course lunches for like the equivalent of 20 bucks american (always pay in pesos for everything in Mexico). I don't know if they are open for dinner but it could honestly be the greatest food value...I've ever experienced. You'll have like 2 or 3 choices since there is no menu, it's awesome like that.

This little restaurant located just a block up from Terra Cotta/Mision de Los Arcos hotel you'll find this noon-hour restaurant one of the most cleanest,honest, down to earth Mexican eating places in town. Open just after noon it's specialty is a set course of soup,salad,main...course, and dessert for a very reasonable of between $P50-$P60. Go, listen to the lunch options, choose and then enjoy. Along with a litre or so of freshly made limeade there's not much a person couldn't like at this eatery. Located right on the corner of Yuma and Gardenia it's close to the main zocalo where you can take in the rest of the town's activities after a lovely lunch.
