The bread ar... read more One of the few times that lonely planet has let us down. My wife and I brought our daughter in her pram and we sat outside per our earlier booking. The bread arrived stale, we were not brought the appropriate cutlery for eating crab for about 30 minutes. We were never asked if we would like more drinks. I had the burger and the bun was partially grilled but doughy otherwise. The food was generally OK but not outstanding. Plates left in front of us for 30 minutes after we finished. Slightly confusingly, we had booked to have Moules which they only served at lunch. I don’t really understand why this is as it’s an incredibly easy dish to serve/cook. The restaurant next door serves them through the night, which was torture to watch!! My wife and I have been going to France for years, 6-10 times a year and this was a very poor experience overall. Plenty other options in Morgat so I would give this a wide berth personally.

We have to admit that the food was very good, the oysters fresh and everything tasty. Although, don’t be in a hurry if you go there, we made a reservation for that evening but waited a long time to be seated,have our order taken and for our desserts. The restaurant was full indeed but the service wasn’t especially friendly (no hello or goodbye or even how was it) and we felt a little like we were too much there... overall we’re pretty satisfied with the food
