What Zaman Khan doesn't like about imperial lounge and restaurant:
Service was great and food (mainly starters) was tasty. The venue is huge. Would suggest having some light music playing in the background to drain our the rowdy folks in the bar area. View all feedback.
TL;DR Delicious, and very accomodating! I went for my work's Christmas do.
The food was good. Service was very good. definitely back
The maize peel was too salty and the garlic mushrooms were not as expected
Our family loves this restaurant and we frequent it as often as possible. We have also introduced some of our friends and they have also loved the food and experience. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Food is delicious, well prepared and presented. Portion sizes are generous and we usually find that a main between two people is sufficient. However, if you order too much, they are happy to provide you with carrier containers. The oriental dishes on the menu are not as you would get from a Chinese restaurant; they are spicy and far tastier. Indian dishes are our favorites and are always delicious. The menu is varied enough to make most taste with excellent vegetarian options.
It started well with a warm welcome from all staff. The dining room is lovely, a real statement. Then it went downhill. The white wine my wife had was simply awful the sort of wine used to sell in the 1970s. And warm. The food was OK. Manchurian chicken was so full of garlic it overrode every other flavouring and spicing. The chicken tasted cheap. My lamb dish was better but the sauce was a bit runny. Lamb was tender. Naan bread good. For what we had way too expensive. Overall, it was just about OK but there are far better restaurants around.
