Was Ryleigh Rempel at Boom Eatery a mag?
Been here twice for brekky and both times it was delicious. I've had the big breakfast and everything on the plate was just perfect. The Boom Benedict is another good dish. They don't show pancakes on the menu but we asked the chef and he was more than happy to cook for us and it looked good and tasted even better. You should try the milkshakes as well. What Jess Turcotte dislikes about Boom Eatery:
Just your standard breakfast cafe in Crows Nest. Offers all the usual brekky options at normal prices. Location is good with plenty of parking around. Service was friendly, but they need to clean the tables quicker as birds hover around picking at scraps on the remaining plates. Nothing particularly wow factor about the food, but you get a decent feed. I did enjoy the chorizo though. Presentation is fairly average. View all feedback.
Greeted with a smile, lovely food and strong ass coffee. Came with a groupon voucher and the lady kindly explained what can be ordered. Grabbed the big breakfast ($19) and an iced latte ($4.50). The eggs were perfectly poached and the corn salad was nicely seasoned. The iced latte was super strong, had to add in heaps of raw sugar haha. This place ain't too bad. Would recommend.
Boyfriend and I strolled here on a Sunday morning to redeem our Groupon voucher. The place was packed but a friendly server promptly greeted us and explained their offer. Their breakfast menu doesn't feature vegan options but we were offered to swap the chorizo in their avocado toast for a hash brown. Score! The toast itself had a decent flavor with a generous splash of balsamic vinegar but was a bit lazy; the avocado could have at least been sliced into couple of pieces. The hash brown was meh, frozen and dripping with oil. The coffee, however, was excellent and we will be definitely coming back for it.

Friendly and welcoming place with amazing food and even better coffee, the best cafe' in Crows Nest by far. The Chef is a magician and wizard with his food creations and ideas.
