P J's Grill - Crowley
P J's Grill
Description
Nestled on a Texas roadside, PJ’s emerges as a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While some patrons rave about their flavorful, generously-sized homemade burgers—particularly the beloved double cheeseburger and Cajun Burger—others are less impressed, describing encounters with unfriendly staff and underwhelming fare. Highlights include a notably delicious chili topping and frozen lemonade that leaves a lasting impression. While the ambiance and service can be inconsistent, burger enthusiasts may still find PJ’s a worthy stop for a satisfying quick meal amidst a fast-food landscape. Overall, it's a gamble—those seeking quality comfort food may strike gold, while others may leave wanting more.

Good omelette, biscuit, potatoes. Coffee was pretty decent as well. Beignets were disappointing, but ok. Gravy was nearly inedible. Friendly service. Local customers seemed offended someone from out of town would deign to eat there.
The food is so very good. We drive once a week from Jennings. Also, Erica is an awesome manager, and the staff always see to customer satisfaction!!! 5 STARS !!!!!
This was my 8th or more visit. Every time I previously visited I rated this 10 out of 10, sadly my recent visit didn 't live up to my previous experiences. Previously I was welcomed in by numerous employees, it always felt more special than other places I frequent, however this visit there was no welcome, and the only thing said to me was, what side? And hearing my name when my food was brought out, not really speaking to me, just my name. I pray it was an off day. In visits past I was asked how everything was not long after receiving my food, no one asked, upon leaving I usually heard a thanks come again , just crickets. It was no more busy than I have experienced. Not sure if this off mood lessened the taste of the food, or if the food was not as good as before. I got the Philadelphia Lawyer and seasoned fries. I have had both before(I loved both) and they were both just okay this time. I will try again, but will not try those fries again, sesoning reminded me of Shonie 's seasoning just dumped on top. Totally changed my mood for the day, previously I have driven from Erath to Crowley just for a burger and onion rings, hopefully my next experience doesn 't compare to this past experience. I typically post on Facebook when I stop here and encourage others to stop by, if the next experience is like this last experience please understand I will no longer encourage people to stop in or bring friends with. Sure I am just one person, but you have to continue the levels that I know you are capable of. I should be by sometime mid month, my children are coming from out of state, they have heard me rave about this being the best burgers anywhere, I meant it, I really need you to continuing to be that for me and the people I love.Praying for your mangement and staff.
I visited this restaurant for the first time and unfortunately had a bad experience. They mixed up my order, and the woman at the counter was quite rude about it. I wasn't aware that I had to place my order at the counter, so I waited for five minutes before someone finally asked if I had ordered. I explained that no one had come to take my order. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.
