Gidget's Diner - Crowder
Gidget's Diner
Description
Tucked into small‑town Crowder, this diner delivers hearty, home‑style cooking—standout fried pickles, onion rings, burgers and a much‑loved chicken‑fried steak—at very reasonable prices. Guests praise friendly, attentive service, kid‑ and wheelchair‑friendly facilities, and ample free parking, with breakfasts and steaks frequently recommended. Note: the exterior can appear run‑down and hours have sometimes been unreliable with unanswered calls. Despite curb‑appeal issues, locals and visitors alike recommend it for comforting, well‑executed classics.

Such a great stop for a good meal (traveling from Dallas to JBU, in AR). Hubby said it was best liver onions he's had. Stuffed chicken was great son said chicken fried steak was good too. Kind friendly staff. Country- patriotic decor near baseball field.
Wow! Whodda thunk it? Great place for hungry travelers. Off the beaten path in Crowder Oklahoma. Wife and I split a huge chicken fried steak complete with gravy and toasted white bread. Two delicious sides. Leaving with a fried cherry cream pie for later. Stop here! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch
Update to be fair the inside of this place looked fine. I stand by my assessment of the outside. Not to be mean spirited at all but it’s just not appealing or does it look inviting. I’m sure they’re real nice people serving good food. the bag at the door whether to deter flies or not is no way to make a good impression, take a look at the light fixture on the front porch and decide for yourself if you want to eat there. sorry. Wish you well Routed to this place based on photos posted online. Get there and cannot commit to go in and eat here. Exterior of the building is run down, dilapidated, and really really dirty. There was a bag of flies hanging on the door frame.. dirty mop on front step. Real gross.
