I had an amazing first visit to Red Lantern. Our waiter, Christian, was incredibly patient and friendly. He guided us through the extensive menu and reassured us that the main courses are generous. He also highlighted special menu additions and weekday promotions like $1 dumplings. The food arrived promptly and every dish was delicious. I highly recommend it!
I love Red Lantern. One of my favorite restaurants to hang out whenever I am in Boston.
We have been here many times over the years. It used to be our favorite date spot, however has fallen off quite a bit. The food and drinks are average price for the city, and used to live up to that price, however this has not been the case our last two times visiting. The service used to be more dedicated to ensuring the dining experience is exceptional. Recently however they have been more pushy with getting the tables out so they can have the âclubbyâ vibe. I understand itâs part of the business, would prefer to be able to course out my meal and enjoy a date rather than have an over crowded table because they fire all items right away. Unfortunately after two straight bad experiences here we will most likely be taking them off the date night list.
I took my daughter here for her 26th birthday and we had an amazing experience! The service was excellent, our waiter was great, and the food was both quick and delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
I absolutely loved this restaurant! It was my first time dining here while exploring the city with my family, who were visiting from Virginia. The decor was incredible and the dishes were delicious. The Teriyaki was the best I've ever had and the dessert was amazing. My only suggestion would be to add one more appetizer to the order since there were only 5 pieces and we were a party of 3. I can't wait to dine at this restaurant again on my next trip.
