New American Cafe - Crossing

The roast chicken here is delicious as is the sangria.

We were refused entry into the restaurant. It was after 6 pm and the Garden Cafe had closed. We were exhausted after walking in the museum (closes at 10 pm on Fridays) and we wanted to have some coffee. When we asked, they said they have coffee but they will only serve coffee if we have dinner. They were aware that the garden cafe had closed but still told us to go there and said we cannot just have coffee there. It was extremely disappointing and made the overall experience at the museum frustrating. We saw other people have post dinner coffee and the cafe was also not busy.
