Sheffield's - Cromwell

The Tex Mex Omelette and Breakfast Tacos are quite good. It seems like you use olive oil (the avocados had been dipped in it), and if that's your preference, that's wonderful. There's also a lovely tram stop right by the highway.

Breakfast! I had the Big Cromwell breakfast, and it was enormous. It included 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, 2 pancakes, and hash browns. Everything was fantastic. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crispy, the hash browns were just right, and the pancakes were light and fluffy, as large as the plate itself. The coffee was decent but not too hot, which was the only downside. The diner was bustling, but the service was impressively quick. It's a great spot for breakfast!

What can I say it's the Cromwell Diner and it has a large menu. If you can't find something good to eat you aren't looking at the menu. The waitress was nice and she was very busy but handled our order perfectly. Good comfort food at a good price and nice and clean.

The first time my wife and I ate here was by accident. The food, prices and service is acceptable. We live in Milford and we were so pleased that we drove for another hour just so to try it again and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend.

I was very pleasantly surprised regarding the service and quantity of food served here. My girlfriend had the breakfast quesadilla with fresh guacamole and sour cream. Looked delicious and took a small portion to take home. I had the Big breakfast with 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon and choice of 2 eggs. All delicious and will go back again.
