I dined here with my partner and her family, and almost everything we ordered was exceptional, except for the mules which were not worth mentioning. My meal, the mushroom steak with kartoffeln, was particularly outstanding. The steak was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully, topped generously with delicious mushrooms and just the right amount of sauce. The potatoes on the side were some of the best boiled potatoes I have ever tasted. My partner ordered the fried bratwurst and salmon salad, which struck a perfect balance between lightness for those craving a salad and substance for those wanting a full meal. The bratwurst was so good that I couldn't resist stealing some from her plate in exchange for a taste of my steak or potatoes. I would highly recommend this restaurant as a top destination for a nice dinner.

Despite the server's difficulty, we managed to open it and discovered it had no cap or cork, which was a manufacturing mistake. The oyster plate was disappointing, with tasteless overboiled oysters and a small serving of bland coleslaw. The French fries were good, but not the main attraction of the meal. The clam chowder and desserts were decent, particularly the cannoli. Overall, I would rate this restaurant 3 stars, as there may be better options on the menu. The oyster plate was a major letdown and should never be served as a special.

We were first served cornbread that was very undercooked and doughy along with a white bread that was cold and dried out. My husbands meal did not taste right and latermade him sick. I ordered lasagna and it was mostly a meat sauce. Ladies restroom needed some work and to be cleaned. If you arelooking for fine dining and great food I would not recommend. Sorry but this restaurant should not be listed as fine dining.
