The former parish house was transformed into a hotel by the filantropist Mr. Schmidt who saw the opportunity to acquire the concession for the domain with its 16th century Lutheran church. Since 7 years his team has been building the project. If despite the wonderful scenery and the warm hospitality of the team I am allowed to make a comment, I would recommend the rooms to be air-conditioned and a swimming pool for the kids.

Rooms are well equ... read more Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate one of our family members birthday for whom, the Kraus staff helped us with a delicious birthday cake. Rooms are well equipped, 0.5L bottles of water, slippers, toiletries etc. It is right that the property has view to the main road and while in the garden you can hear all the cars passing but haven’t heard from our room anything during the night, even if our room has windows on the road side. We liked that the personnel is of different ages and all were very friendly, respectful and polite.

But there were dogs kept at the property which were seriously mistreated, borderline abuse. Their pen was small, and had not been cleaned of food scraps. One of the dogs had an infection which was not treated. This would constitute an offence under law in many other countries

Ever... read more We came here in November, when there are basically no tourists. However we were surprised to find fresh and delicious food, good coffee at very low prices. Everything we ordered was so good, that we couldn't stop tasting. Look at my desert with 10 lei 3 big portions! (photo attached) We would definitely come back. Service: 5
