Worst weekend ever!! lounge, bar and restaurant flooded due to boiler failure... So no hot water, unable to flush toilet and food was not what was offered online ... A4 menu like school dinners.... Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 1

I came into the hotel after a WHW disaster. Was offered an available room. The room was great. Food was great. Loads of local knowledge and information about trains local shops etc. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

I stayed with a group who had booked the whole hotel for a weekend. The friendly efficient staff looked after the whole group working round our timetable. When the weather caused us to change plans for lunch the kitchen catered for the whole for an unplanned meal. This is the fourth time the group has stayed here and we will do so again in the future.
