with a friend like in the opposite sat and was impressed by the overall choice. a fully vegan menu is always welcomed, and we both enjoyed our starters. I had the pizza garlic bread with vegan mozarella. for my head I had the vegan paella and must say was really impressed. I felt the prices of the main were fair, but starter prices for what they seemed on the steep side. all but not many complain. View all feedback.
What Maria Holmes doesn't like about Ego Mediterranean:
this review is decorated with sadness! many nice options for vegan but! they were so underseasonal! it seems as if they still iron out their palette, but they come! still worth a visit, but quite expensive for what it was! View all feedback.
I went with a friend who lives in the area and was impressed by the variety of options at this restaurant. Having a fully vegan menu was a pleasant surprise, and we both enjoyed our appetizers. I ordered the pizza garlic bread with vegan mozzarella and for my main course, I had the vegan paella which exceeded my expectations. I found the prices of the main dishes to be reasonable, but thought that the prices for the appetizers were a bit on the expensive side. Overall, I had few complaints.
This review has a hint of disappointment. Although there are many great vegan options available, they are not showcased prominently. It appears that the restaurant is still refining their offerings, but they show promise. While it is worth a visit, the prices are on the higher side for what is being offered.
I tried the vegetable paella and vegan garlic bread with cheese from their vegan menu. It was very helpful that the menu indicated which beers were also vegan-friendly.
