China King - Creve Coeur

The food accomplishes the goal and is fresh, but is pretty bland. The General Tsos and Sesame chicken taste the same. For good cheap Chinese food, Id recommend Green China or St Louis Kitchen.

We ordered Sweet &Sour Chicken and Beef Broccoli. Both were fabulous! The fried rice was flavorful and NOT dry, and the crab rangoons were huge and tasty.

This specific China King location has been my go to for years. They never miss. always delicious, follow special instructions and alterations, and of course the food delicious!

I really like the taste of China King and their portions are better than a lot of Chinese restaurants. I usually get a House Special fried rice, 16. Egg Drop with Wonton Soup and 3. Shrimp Egg Roll (1) my only complaint is I wish the egg rolls weren’t so pricey for one

The reviews for this reat gave me hope. Sadly my hopes were quickly dashed. The food arrived promptly, hats off to Door Dash! We ordered lunch combos of General C17.General Tso’s Chicken and C06 kung pao chicken , one with an egg roll and onewoth crab rangoon. I ordered 26. Pork Fried Rice and Wanton 19. Wonton Soup to have for dinner. Every tasted of well used oil that despe needs to be changed. The chicken in the King Pao was fried to the point that it was nothing morethan crunchy bits. The Gener Tsos was bland and spongy. The Egg Roll tasted as if it were refried and dripped with oil. The crab rangoonfilling was tasty, but ruined by the flavor of old fry oil. This was a first and last as everything went into the trash.
