What User doesn't like about Gin's on Canyon:
Greeted by a friendly staff member when you walk in the door, family friendly menu, food is good and portions are satisfying. Formally an ABC franchise (Too many franchise rules to follow) way too portion controlled, way too price controlled (ie had to buy supplies from franchise, orange juice was over four times the price than the local Overwaitea therefore the restaurant had to price accordingly) Now it's Gins pric... Right across from the Visitors' Centre, if you hit Creston hungry as we did this is a great choice. We left our car in the Centre's parking lot and walked across in time for a late breakfast. Omelet, home tries, toast and coffee all good and all for a good price. Plus a genuinely friendly server. We left well fed and happy. View all feedback.

read moreGin's restaurant offers a family-friendly atmosphere with satisfying portions and reasonable prices since breaking away from a franchise. Despite some negative experiences with undercooked meat, the overall dining experience is pleasant. The menu may appeal to those looking for traditional meat and potatoes dishes, as well as classic diner options. However, those seeking more adventurous or gourmet flavors may be disappointed with the lackluster pasta and stir fry options. For a reliable and affordable meal, visitors can enjoy a good breakfast at this cozy gem across from the Visitors' Centre, with friendly service and well-prepared dishes. Le Saint Jacques is also a standout option for those craving expertly prepared French cuisine and a fantastic wine selection, with dishes like escargot and coq au vin surpassing expectations.
