Jack's Lobster Shack Oyster - Cresskill

We love this place! It’s our fourth time here, and each time we had a different dinner. Great and varied salads, veggie options, and of course the claim to fame lobster, oyster, salmon, shrimp, scallops, crab and whatnot. The kids enjoy chicken fingers and fries, fried calamari, or just pasta... and the vibe is fun, too. Always great service. We also ordered in once and it was wonderful. Highly recommended.

Pictured is the lobster grilled cheese and the crab cake sandwich which was my order and omg! It was amazing! A great big crab cake with all crab meat no fillers on a english muffin.. it was great. Filled me up with a couple of bites i couldn't finish it. I look foward to returning

We ordered takeout from this restaurant. The staff was friendly and greeted us warmly when we arrived. Our food was well-packaged and prepared, and everything was ready for us to take home. We savored our meal, which included fish tacos (softshell), Connecticut and Maine lobster rolls, a children's fried shrimp plate, and truffle lobster mac and cheese.

I recently tried the fried clam appetizer at this restaurant and it was fantastic - the portion size was large and the dough was light. I also ordered a double lobster roll, Maine style. The lobster was a bit chewy and not very sweet, but the biggest issue was the hard rolls that detracted from the overall flavor of the dish. My wife ordered a single lobster roll and found that the roll was much better. Overall, I have had better lobster rolls elsewhere.

This restaurant serves the best Calamari we've ever tasted! The other dishes were equally amazing, with fresh ingredients, fantastic flavors, and delicious light bread. The staff member who took our order over the phone was very friendly, and our delivery arrived quickly. Thank you so much!
